Tough Guise
As I grow into this world and become more observant, I see a society that controls the way people think, judge, and react, making it hard for boys or men to be who they truly want to be. As well as women. But unlike women, boys and men are easily or quickly rejected. Tough Guise 2, the documentary is clearly about Toxic Masculinity in men but it's also about the violent thinking that takes place within a man's mind; the dramatic impact of feminism within a boy's life, and the failure of an appropriate male role model provided for a young boys over many generations.
After watching the film I had a chance to read these 2 articles regarding the very topic of Masculinity. Reading these articles and watching this film, I gained a better understanding of the bigger picture when it comes to Toxic Masculinity in society today. As a divided people we need to come together to hear what different folks have to say. Society needs to give men back their language to speak how they feel and what they feel because how they feel is important, it is they way he learn and comprehend one another, it's how we right our wrongs and correct our judgments. Feelings shouldn't be seen as a form of sensitivity or feminism. It should be seen as a form of understanding him and her.
